CHALLENGE

LivePerson, an Enterprise SaaS (ai chatbot) company, needed a strong Head of Global Marketing as well as a Sales Enablement Director to better align with the strategic vision of the new CMO, ensuring they were building and defining their Product Marketing strategy with data driven playbooks that optimized revenue growth while providing a roadmap for both the Sales Enablement and the Sales teams. The plan was to find this Head of Marketing, then the Sales Enablement Director and afterwards to help build out their sales and onboarding teams.

ACTION

Engro Partners met with the CMO, as well as the HR & Recruiting team. Since the Head of Global Marketing would be the #2 within the Marketing organization, we needed someone who could be in the weeds but who was also a SVP level global marketing strategic leader. After hiring the Head of Marketing it was rather seamless to find the Sales Enablement Director that would complement the team. From there we were able to hire multiple Channel Sales Managers and a Head of Onboarding/Manager to help ensure the sales team was setup for success.

RESULT

Engro identified the right mix of experience that would have a major impact on multiple aspects of LivePerson’s global business. We also wanted the people who could thrive in the culture and stage of growth that LivePerson was experiencing, ensuring each person would also gain greater exposure to leadership opportunities for all key hires including the Head of Global Marketing, the Sales Enablement Director, the Head of Onboarding and the Channel Sales Managers. Our headhunters brought in a select group of highly qualified finalists to interview for each role enabling us to make these hires quickly.
